The Night I Met Su Min ParkThe city of Seoul South Korea, New Years Night, I met Su Min at the club called "Vent" in the Hongik University Area. Hongik was known for being a sort of arts and youth culture kind of place. I wasn't too old to be there, but I was the youngest in the crowd either.
I was lost. It took me three years to get out there after all. I had to settle somethings in Colorado, and was ready to start something new. Being lost, I had found an old friend from San Francisco who through fortune shared his support network and drinking became a new hobby because it numbed the physical and mental pain I had endured with my optimistic smile on my face.
In Korea, smoking is allowed in clubs, and the air was filled with scents, and other lost souls. When you don't know what to do with your life, the alcohol, the dance, and the possibility of sex drive you as a preferred hobby. That night, it didn't matter what country you were from, what language you were better at, it was New Years eve, and an
